MILE5’s business transfers service is a corporate chauffeur service in London built for the person doing the booking as much as the person in the back seat. Journeys can be billed to a company account with dedicated invoicing, every airport pickup is met inside arrivals with a name board carrying your company name, and we have been driving business travellers in and out of London since 2011.

Built around the person who books, not just the person who rides
Most corporate chauffeur bookings in London are made by an executive assistant, an office manager or a travel coordinator, often for someone landing in six hours’ time. What that booker needs is not a brochure. It is a booking confirmed in writing, a pickup that adjusts itself when the flight is late, an SMS the moment the chauffeur is in position inside arrivals, and an invoice that finance will accept without a query. That is the shape of the MILE5 business transfers service.
You can book a MILE5 journey on behalf of anyone: a director, a visiting client, a candidate flying in for interview, a whole board arriving on different flights. Give us the passenger’s name and mobile number and we deal with them directly on the day, while confirmations and changes go to you. Nobody in the back seat has to produce a card.
How a MILE5 corporate account works
A corporate account with MILE5 means your company’s journeys are booked under one account and invoiced to the business, rather than paid individually on a traveller’s card and claimed back on expenses. Setting one up starts with the contact form. Tell us roughly how often you travel, which airports and cities come up most, and who in your team will be making bookings. We take it from there.
Tell us about your travel
A short conversation about volume, typical routes and who books. No minimum spend is needed to ask.
Name your bookers
One assistant or a whole team. Each booker can arrange journeys for any passenger in the business, by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Book, change, repeat
Send the flight number, passenger name and drop-off address. We track the flight, send an SMS when the chauffeur is in position, and handle changes on the day, 24 hours a day.
Dedicated invoicing
Journeys are invoiced to the business rather than paid on a traveller’s card and claimed back on expenses.
Account terms are agreed with you directly, because a firm that sends two people to Heathrow a month and a firm that runs a weekly roadshow need different things. Use the contact form and we will come back to you with a proposal.
Airport transfers for visiting clients, staff and candidates
Airport work is the largest part of what MILE5 does for business customers, and the details matter more than the car. Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall holding a name board with your company name on it, so a client who has never met anyone from your firm knows exactly who to walk towards. We track the inbound flight and adjust the pickup time to the actual landing, and the first 60 minutes after the flight touches down are free waiting, which covers passport control and baggage on all but the worst days. Luggage is loaded by the chauffeur, not pointed at.
We cover all five London airports and Southend, each with its own fixed-price route pages: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City, plus airport to airport connections for anyone changing planes across London. Business passengers heading straight to a hotel can be met and delivered to the door; we run regular transfers to the Savoy, Claridge’s, the Ned, the Shangri-La at the Shard and most of the City and Canary Wharf hotels.
| What the passenger sees | What the booker sees |
|---|---|
| Chauffeur inside arrivals with a company name board | Written confirmation, then an SMS when the chauffeur is in position |
| Pickup timed to the real arrival, 60 minutes free waiting at airports | No call from a stranded passenger, no waiting charge dispute |
| Luggage handled, a quiet car, a chauffeur who knows the route | A journey that reflects the company, not the cheapest app available |
| Nothing to pay in the car | Invoiced to the company, not the traveller |
Inter-city and long-distance business travel
The same chauffeur service runs beyond the M25. A client landing at Heathrow with a meeting in Oxford or Cambridge, a site visit in Birmingham or Manchester, a team travelling to a conference in Brighton: these are fixed-price point-to-point journeys, quoted before you confirm, with the car staying with your passenger for a return leg if you need it. For anything over about two hours we can build a wait-and-return into the booking so the chauffeur is outside when the meeting finishes. Long-distance journeys are quoted individually through the contact form, or you can price a single leg on the booking page.
Roadshows and meeting-to-meeting days
Some business days do not fit a point-to-point booking at all: an investor roadshow with six stops, a visiting executive who needs a car and driver from breakfast to dinner, an event where the same chauffeur should be outside every venue. For those we provide an as directed chauffeur service, where you hire the car and chauffeur for the time you need and route them as the day unfolds. Tell us the schedule and we will quote it.
The fleet
Mercedes-Benz E-Class
The everyday business car. Up to three passengers with two large cases. Quiet enough to take a call, comfortable enough for the M4 at 6am.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class
For a senior client or a journey where the car is part of the welcome. Rear legroom for working, and the chauffeur’s discretion comes as standard.
Mercedes-Benz V-Class
Up to seven passengers with luggage, or four people who want to sit facing each other and talk. The right car for a team arriving together.
Every vehicle is a Mercedes replaced on a three-year cycle and valeted between jobs, and every chauffeur is DBS-checked and TfL-licensed, working under MILE5’s operator licence 009161. Chauffeurs are used to confidential passengers and confidential conversations; what is said in the car stays there.
Open a MILE5 corporate account
Send us a few lines about how your business travels and we will come back with a proposal, or call to talk it through. Single airport journeys can be booked and paid online straight away.
Business transfers: frequently asked questions
How much does a corporate chauffeur service cost in London?
Airport journeys with MILE5 are fixed price and published on each airport page, so a Heathrow to central London transfer costs the same whether you book it once or fifty times. Inter-city journeys, roadshows and as-directed days are quoted individually because the distance, hours and vehicle vary. Corporate account terms are agreed with you directly through the contact form.
Can our company hold an account with MILE5?
Yes. MILE5 offers corporate accounts with dedicated invoicing, so journeys are billed to the business rather than paid on a traveller’s card. Start with the contact form and tell us roughly how often you travel and who will be booking.
Can I book a chauffeur for someone else?
Yes, and most business bookings work this way. Give us the passenger’s name and mobile number along with the flight or pickup details. The chauffeur contacts the passenger directly on the day, and confirmations and any changes come to you as the booker.
Will the chauffeur hold a sign with our company name?
Yes. At airports the chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board. By default it shows the passenger’s name, and for business bookings we can show your company name instead, which is useful when a client has never met anyone from your firm.
What happens if the flight is delayed?
We track every inbound flight and move the pickup to match the actual landing time, so a delay does not need a phone call from you. The first 60 minutes after touchdown are free waiting at all London airports, which covers passport control and baggage collection in almost every case.
Do you cover Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City as well as Heathrow?
Yes. MILE5 operates from all five London airports plus Southend, with fixed prices published for each, and runs airport to airport connections for passengers changing planes across London.
What is your cancellation policy for business bookings?
For London airport transfers, cancellation is free with more than four hours’ notice, charged at 50 per cent between two and four hours, and charged in full inside two hours. Bookings made at short notice have a 30 minute grace period to cancel. Full terms are on our terms and conditions page.
